EOGB's Dual Fuel Burner proves perfect for Blackpool Victoria Hospital

EOGB Energy Products, who distribute a range of premium performance gas burners for commercial, domestic and industrial applications were pleased to provide three of their BDC 122 M dual fuel burners for installation at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

A wide range of burners from EOGB have been proven throughout a wealth of installations to deliver outstanding performance and reliability, so there was no hesitation in specifying them to fulfil the heating and hot water system requirements of this demanding hospital environment.

Blackpool Victoria is a large acute hospital that treats more than 80,000 day-case and inpatients and more than 200,000 outpatients from across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre every year. Its A & E Department is one of the busiest in the country with more than 80,000 attendances every year.

Linked to work in conjunction with the specified Viessman modulating control system, the impressive BDC 122 M dual fuel burner has been designed  with a two-stage progressive modulating operation. Lightweight in design, the BDC 122 M is ideal for utilisation with any type of combustion chamber. In addition, easy maintenance and servicing is facilitated by the fact that all components and control equipment can be removed without having to remove the burner from the boiler.
