The
recent introduction of the XSeries
oil burner range has been so successful
that it has been necessary to
significantly increase the production
and storage capacity of our premises in
St. Neots Cambridgeshire.
The existing capacity of around 10,500
square feet was proving to be
insufficient to maintain our policy of
ex-stock deliveries on the new range and
we therefore had to seek a solution.
After much analysis we finally decided
upon the installation of a 2,000 square
foot mezzanine floor above the existing
production area. This had a number of
benefits in that it not only enabled a
dramatic increase in storage capacity
close to the production lines, but it
also assisted in improving the lighting
and heating of the production area
itself.
The installation works were completed
over a two week period with minimal
disruption to our production capacity
and deliveries to our customers.
We are confident that we now not only
have the capacity to meet the peek
demands that are anticipated from our
burner customers for the forthcoming
heating season but to also increase even
further the range of components that we
are able to offer to our customers from stock.
