Press Release
Graham Group is oil fired up with EOGB!
Oil burner specialists EOGB have
recently supplied a large number of
burners to Gordon Graham Ltd. for road
marking vehicles. The diesel
burners are being used for white lining
boilers either for Gordon Graham's own
fleet or supplied to other users, and
are a direct result of a three-year
project between EOGB and Gordon Graham
to improve the safety and efficiency of
burners on road marking vehicles.
Because the EOGB diesel burners utilise
the vehicles own fuel supply, there is
no need to carry a secondary fuel supply
of LPG. In addition, the burners
can run off the existing 24v power
supply from the vehicle, avoiding the
need for expensive generators.
Apart from the obvious safety aspects of
not having to carry extra gas bottles,
diesel burners are more economical and
harness the fuel you already have.
The 24v voltage burners supplied to
Gordon Graham mark an increasing trend
towards lower voltage equipment as well
as a move away from using propane.
Each burner supplied has a universal
mounting flange for a solid, airtight
attachment. The construction
allows easy access to internal
components without having to break oil
or electrical connections.
Adjustment points for oil pressure and
air, control box and photocell are all
front facing, and the ignition unit and
photocell are released by just one clip.
As well as supplying burners for white
lining and asphalt applications, EOGB
has also developed burners suitable for
many other highway applications such as
road drying and line removal. In
addition, they are an established major
burner supplier to both the domestic and
commercial heating industries. The
project with Gordon Graham is just one
example of how EOGB is constantly
working to meet new applications and
changing requirements as part of a
continuous development policy.
