Bio-compatible products

With the biofuel content in diesel heating oil increasing to 7% from January 2011 and the introduction of bio-kerosene on the horizon, EOGB Energy Products is working with suppliers to develop bio-compatible products for the oil heating market.

“In addition to our biofuel-compatible flexible hoses, we have added bio-compatible  fuel filters and KBB fire valves,” said Stewart Binnie, sales and marketing director, EOGB.  “The engineer now has products which will work with the new fuels as soon as they are available and the engineer can update customers’ boiler installations to safeguard against future fuel changes.”

The filters will be available in popular sizes; the mounting lug length is extended slightly and the mounting holes moved up to allow direct access to them over the top of the filter housing when using a screwdriver or socket extension bar.

KBB fire valves will be available in both 65 and 90 deg ranges at all current available lengths.
