New range of Bio Fuel Flexible Hoses

EOGB have launched a new range of Bio Fuel compatible flexible hoses.

The future for the Oil Heating Industry is moving towards Bio Fuels to meet the demands of Government and the consumer for lower Co2 emitting products.

  EOGB Energy Products Ltd has been working closely with OFTEC as a member of the Bio Fuel Taskforce in the development of a Bio fuel for the heating market.   A fuel spec is due to be finalised and supply to the market should be starting near the end of 2010, therefore there will be a need to have Bio Fuel compatible products available for Engineers to fit to their customers systems.  Bio based fuels are more aggressive and material changes to products are required to enable their components to work with them, especially those containing natural rubber based materials. 

EOGB is working with its supply base to ensure Bio friendly components will be available to meet the upcoming market demand.  We are pleased to announce a new range of Long Life Green Flexible hoses which are suitable for all fuel types, Fame and Rape based Bio’s, plus the current fossil fuels, they have a 2 year guarantee and are tested up to 20 bar pressure. 

This is the first in a range of products that we are releasing over the next few months that will allow the engineer to update their customers’ boiler installations to safeguard against future fuel changes.
