EOGB Burners, suitability with Bio Fuels

EOGB’s XSeries burners from 1st November 2010 (Serial No 0009885+) have the necessary bio compatible components fitted to be suitable for use with Kerosene and Gas Oil with up to 10% blend of FAME base Bio Fuel added as standard.

Baltur commercial burner ranges from 1st January 2011 have the necessary bio compatible components fitted, to be suitable for use with Gas Oil with up to 10% blend of FAME base Bio Fuel added as standard.  

We are also able to offer our Baltur commercial burner specifications for use with up to 30% FAME based Bio Blends with Gas Oil as special orders.  We would need to see a specification for the intended Bio Fuel blend before orders are placed.  For suitability of blends above 30% please discuss fuel specifications with our technical department.

Rape Oil (RME) based Bio Fuels can be burnt on our Baltur commercial range only, but need to use a heavy oil specification unit, we would need to see the intended  fuel specification and blend ratio before quoting.

For burners manufactured prior to the introduction of bio compatible components, these may require the fitting of bio fuel components, to ensure suitable bio fuel compatible performance from the hydraulic components and oil lines.

In all circumstances when using Bio Fuel blends it will also be a requirement that the entire oil installation should be correctly prepared and capable of operating with such fuels.
