2018 review: Celebrating a landmark year for EOGB
2018 has been an exciting year for EOGB with company milestones, making strides in research and development and the launch of a new brand into the UK heating market. As we look back on our bumper year, we wanted to share some of our favourite moments.
The biggest celebration of the year was EOGB’s 25th anniversary. Re-branded from Electro Oil & Gas Burners Ltd in 1993, EOGB has since grown to become a leading manufacturer and supplier within the heating industry, synonymous with excellent customer service, technical knowledge and high-quality products.
In April, we introduced the CONGLP1 natural gas to LPG changeover training course at our training centre. The course converts existing natural gas qualifications to their LPG counterparts and covers areas such as safety requirement, flow controls and vales and LPG supply pressure. See all upcoming course dates here!
In June, local Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly visited EOGB to view the latest developments in off-grid heating technology and innovation. As an MP with a largely rural constituency Mr Djanogly was particularly interested in seeing EOGB’s developments in off-grid heating technology and hear how these can help to address carbon reduction targets in the UK.
2018 marked ten years since we established our five-day commercial burner training course at Baltur’s impressive R&D facility in Bologna, Italy.
The course offers covers single stage, two stage and fully modulating burners from 50kW to 2000kW as well as commissioning, gas valve set up, modulating controls, burner matching, and fault finding and is one of only a handful available in the heating industry.
In September, we were thrilled to announce the launch of Baltur, the Italian-based global brand in heating solutions, into the UK.
EOGB now markets, sells and supports Baltur’s extensive range of commercial and industrial boilers and burners under the Baltur brand. Previously, EOGB had been Baltur’s sole distributor in the UK for their burner range only.
