Our hoses are made with the highest quality materials and are the number one choice for many engineers.

EOGB Ruby-Red and Bio-Green flexible hoses are tested and suitable for Kerosene and Gas oil liquid fuels conforming to BS 2869:2017 and biofuels blends including  HVO to 100%.

GREEN BIO FLEXIBLES

These hoses now carry a 3-year warranty (as of 1st April 2019, 2 years prior to this date), valid from the date stamped on the crimp. The hose must not be kinked or stretched during use.

RUBY RED FLEXIBLES

These hoses have a 5-year Manufacturer warranty and a 10-year end of life from the date stamped on the crimp and is tested by ISO-6806 The hose must not be kinked or stretched.

RECOMMENDATIONS

These hoses have a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 10-year service life from the date stamped on the crimp. They are tested according to ISO 6806. The hose must not be kinked or stretched.

All hoses have been manufactured from high-quality materials, but like all rubber and plastic materials, they eventually change their characteristics due to varying environmental, operating and site conditions.

It is impossible to establish the internal condition of the hose to decipher if any degradation has taken place. It is highly recommended to adhere to OFTEC guidelines where it is stipulated that hoses are changed during the annual service and/or no more than 1 year after the warranty expiry date which is stamped clearly on the hose crimp.

Select the fuel type (Gas Oil or Kerosene).
Choose the nozzle pattern type—Danfoss EH/ES*, Danfoss H, S, B, Delavan A, W, B, or Monarch AR, R, NS, & PLP.
Select the nozzle size from the dropdown list.
Enter the appliance efficiency:
- If the efficiency is unknown, assume approx 80% for a non-condensing boiler, 90% for condensing.
- For burner output calculations, set efficiency to 100%.
Adjust pump pressure until desired kW output:
- If output cannot be reached, select a different nozzle size and recalc.

Important Notes:

*EH/ES nozzles are not suitable for gas oil.

**Boiler efficiencies provided are approximate guides. Consult manufacturer for precise info.

***Pump pressure requirements vary depending on fuel type:

Kerosene: 100–145 psi (6.9–10 bar)
Gas oil: 174–319 psi (12–22 bar)

Always consult pump manufacturer for min/max pump pressures.

This nozzle calculator serves as a general guide for estimating outputs based on Delavan, Danfoss, and Monarch nozzles at specified pressures. Follow manufacturer instructions when available.

Different nozzles at same pressure produce different throughput. Verify pump pressure and nozzle size.

Example: 0.50 GPH EH/ES nozzle at 125 psi → ~20.12 kW. Swap to H/S/B → ~22.43 kW.

Danfoss EH/ES up to 2.00 GPH, >1.10 GPH obsolete
Danfoss EH/ES only for kerosene
