1993

Electro Oil & Gas Burners Ltd, a subsidiary company of Bentone in Sweden, is disbanded due to its parent company looking to downsize operations in the UK.  Following a management buy-out, the company is rebranded as EOGB Energy Products Ltd and relocated to St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Initially EOGB is an agent for the Bentone range of burners servicing the needs of the UK customers with technical backup and spares.

2000

  • EOGB develop 12v and 24v versions of Bentone’s Sterling oil burners for specialist applications
  • EOGB becomes sole UK agency for Italian burner manufacturer Baltur

2001

EOGB begins designing and manufacturing its own X series range of domestic oil burners

2004

EOGB’s X series range of domestic burners is officially launched and offered in three model sizes, the X400, X500 and X600

2008

EOGB begins running annual commercial burner training courses for engineers at the Baltur facility in Italy

2010

A purpose-built training and assessment centre is incorporated into the existing EOGB building in St Neots and oil and gas training and assessments are offered

2013

  • EOGB celebrates its 20th anniversary
  • Launch of EOGB nozzle output calculator app

2014

EOGB celebrates 10 years since the launch of the X Series, which has seen a steady 10% growth year-on-year

2015

EOGB launches Abzorb, a range of environmentally-friendly oil spill clean up products

2016

EOGB starts offering a free ‘Heating Health Check‘ service

2017

  • EOGB engineer Reece Summerfield wins ‘Trainee of the Year’ at the 2017 HVR Awards
  • OFTEC 201 commercial burners training is introduced

2018

  • EOGB celebrates its 25 year anniversary
  • The CONGLP1 LPG changeover course is introduced
  • EOGB invests into expansion of R&D facility
  • Sapphire, EOGB’s first fully-modulating low NOx burner, is launched

2019

EOGB wins Employer of the Year at the M&E Excellence Awards and is the runner up for Wholesaler/ Distributor of the Year and Customer Service Person of the Year (Peter Dempsey) at the HVR Awards 2019.
