Strengthening Technical Expertise: Baltur Commercial Burner Training in Italy
This July, we've joined our partner Baltur for specialist commercial burner training
RECENT NEWS & UPDATES
On 21–23 July, EOGB’s Commercial Sales Executive, Technical Engineers, and six invited heating engineers attended the annual Baltur Commercial Burner Training at Baltur’s facility in Cento, Italy.
As a long-standing Baltur partner, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue developing our expertise and strengthening our knowledge of Baltur’s advanced burner technology. EOGB has supplied Baltur burners across the UK market for over 30 years, and this training provided a valuable opportunity to learn directly from the Baltur team, who shared their extensive technical knowledge, experience, and insights into the latest burner developments.
The three-day training programme covered gas, oil, and dual-fuel Baltur commercial burners ranging from 50 kW to 2000 kW, including two-stage burners, air/gas ratio systems, mechanical modulation, and pre-mix control technologies.
Throughout the training, engineers took part in practical sessions, shared technical knowledge, and collaborated closely with the Baltur team. They also had the opportunity to see large-scale commercial burners operating first-hand, gaining a deeper understanding of their installation, commissioning, and performance.
Our engineers, Cormac and Nathan, shared their thoughts on the experience:
💬 Cormac:
"The Baltur training in Italy gave me a much deeper understanding of the burners. I found the hands-on sessions and the opportunity to learn directly from the Baltur team especially valuable, as they provided practical knowledge that I can apply in my work."
💬 Nathan:
"The recent visit to Baltur provided valuable technical insights into their latest Low NOx and dual-fuel burner ranges, as well as the MBE gas multi-block series. One of the key benefits of the experience was the opportunity for a detailed exchange of technical information, encouraging close collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams. Seeing the burners in operation first-hand will allow us to incorporate these insights into our technical support and customer service.
We look forward to returning to Italy next summer with another group of engineers, helping them expand their commercial burner knowledge and continue developing their skills with one of Europe’s leading burner manufacturers.
